Final drive gears, also known as ring & pinion set or crown wheel & pinion (CWP).  For Subaru R180 applications (180mm ring gear OD).  Ring and pinion gears are a matched set.  Professional installation is required for best results.  Setting the correct pinion depth, backlash, and bearing preloads is essential for maximum life expectancy and minimal noise.

Select appropriate rear diff ratio.  Ratio must match front ratio and transfer ratio otherwise center diff failure may occur.  3.90 must be used with 3.90 front ratio and 1.0 transfer ratio, 4.44 must be used with 4.44 front ratio and 1.0 transfer, 3.54 must be used with 3.90 front ratio and 1.1 transfer ratio. 

Available with optional REM ISF© treatment.  ISF (superfinishing) improves strength and reliability by significantly reducing the surface roughness in order to eliminate stress raisers on the surface, lower operating friction, and improve tooth contact.  Selecting this option may add up to a week to the delivery time.
