~ Grow Instructions ~

The Parrot Flower, also known as Impatiens Psittacina, is a rare and exotic species native to Southeast Asia, particularly Thailand, Myanmar, and parts of India. This plant is famous for its unique flowers, which remarkably resemble a parrot in flight. The blooms feature vibrant shades of pink, red, and purple, with a distinct shape that captures the imagination.
Light: Prefers partial shade to dappled sunlight. Direct sunlight can scorch the delicate flowers and leaves, so a shaded location is ideal.
Water: Keep soil consistently moist but well-drained. Water regularly, ensuring the soil remains evenly moist but not waterlogged. Avoid letting the soil dry out completely.
Soil: Well-draining, rich, loamy soil with a slightly acidic to neutral pH (6.0-7.0) is ideal. Adding organic matter like compost can improve soil fertility and structure.
Temp: Thrives in warm temperatures between 60-75°F (16-24°C). The Parrot Flower is sensitive to frost and should be protected or grown indoors in cooler climates.
Humidity: Prefers high humidity. Ensure good air circulation to reduce the risk of fungal diseases and to keep the plant healthy. Regular misting can help maintain humidity levels.

~ Care Instructions ~

Fertilizer: Apply a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer every 2-4 weeks during the growing season. A 10-10-10 or 20-20-20 formula is suitable. Avoid over-fertilizing, as it can lead to excessive foliage growth at the expense of blooms.
Pruning: Minimal pruning is required. Remove any dead or yellowing leaves to keep the plant looking tidy. Pinch back the tips of young plants to encourage bushier growth and more flowers.
Pests: Watch for pests like aphids, spider mites, and whiteflies. Treat infestations with appropriate insecticides or natural remedies. Also, be mindful of fungal issues such as powdery mildew and apply fungicides if necessary.
Arrangement Tips:
Vase Choice: Use a small, delicate vase to showcase the unique beauty of the Parrot Flowers. A clear glass vase can highlight the intricate details of the blooms.
Arrangement Style: Parrot Flowers are best displayed on their own or with minimal greenery to allow their unique shape and color to be the focal point. Their exotic appearance adds a touch of whimsy and intrigue to any arrangement.
A rare and enchanting flower that captivates with its parrot-like blooms and adds a touch of exotic beauty to both gardens and floral arrangements!!!

It works very well.
I recommend this cream for eczema. I had several spots on my body so I would slather it on and with in 1 month the spots on my body were gone. BUT the spots on my scalp have not gone as it is hard to put this on your hair/ scalp every time it itches. So this has been an ongoing problem but it does soothe the skin that is flaring up.

Best Cream!!
Love this stuff! I got this because menopause was killing my skin. It was awful! Itchy, red and dry. I couldn't sleep it was so bad. I found this, and it's literally the only thing that actually helped. I went through my first jar quickly, no you don't need much, but my rash was all over my arms, neck and chest. After my second jar and using it a few times a day, my rash is gone! Some people may not like the smell, but I think it's actually nice. It's not greasy, and I don't feel gross after putting it on. I hate greasy creams. On my third jar now! This one is lasting much longer since I don't need it as much.

Good Relief, But a Little Pricey
I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt like this cream deserved one. I’ve tried so many products for dry, itchy eczema patches, and most either felt greasy, burned when applied, or just didn’t do much. Puriya has been such a refreshing change. The texture is smooth, it absorbs quickly without leaving that sticky feeling, and within a couple of days my skin felt calmer and the redness started to fade. What I really like is how versatile it is. I’ve used it on flare-ups, random dry spots, and even my hands when they get irritated in the summer. It feels gentle but still effective, and I don’t need to use a ton for it to work. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is the price. It’s a little on the higher side for the amount you get. I also find myself reapplying a bit more often than I’d like. But overall, it’s one of the better creams I’ve tried, and I’ll definitely keep using it.

Not good for eczema
This cream shouldn't be described as an eczema cream. Eczema is usually colonized by s. aureus bacteria, and you need a powerful anti-bacterial substance in your skin cream in order to combat it. Neem oil or manuka honey both have strong anti-bacterial effects, and I recommend getting a cream with one of those ingredients if you have eczema. This Puriya cream is helpful for moisturizing dry skin to prevent eczema. However, it won't help to stop eczema once you've got it. That said, customer service was very helpful and gave me a refund for the product after I complained.

Very nice and moisturizing on the skin but didn't do much repairing. Overly expensive for nothing.
